Sumona Chakraborty

Bio

Sumona joined OrbiMed in 2018 and is a Director on the Asia private equity team. Prior to joining OrbiMed, Sumona worked in investment banking at Avendus Capital and previously worked in investment banking at Equirus Capital and UBS. Sumona received her Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal and M.B.A. from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. Outside the office, Sumona enjoys painting, gardening, and traveling.
