Bio

Girish is an Executive Director on the Public Equity Team in Asia and joined the firm in 2021. Prior to joining OrbiMed, Girish was a Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch covering healthcare in India, Korea, and China. Previously, Girish covered regional healthcare including India and ASEAN healthcare at HSBC and U.S. Major Pharmaceuticals at Lehman Brothers. Girish holds an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, New Delhi and an MBBS from University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He was granted a CFA charter in 2010, and he is a Gold medalist in Biochemistry.
