Singulex’s technology has been developed into the Erenna™ Immunoassay System, which addresses unmet needs in biomarker discovery and validation. The Erenna System can detect as few as two hundred molecules, which meets or exceeds the detection limits of quantitative real-time PCR. Combining the Erenna System’s nanotechnology with tried and proven high-throughput immunoassay micro-technology, Singulex has developed protein assays that are 100–1,000 times more sensitive and use 20–100 fold less sample. This enables detailed industrial-scale analysis of precious clinical specimen repositories, cell culture preparations, and other biological specimens that otherwise cannot be studied.
